SHURE EXTENDED WARRANTY BUSINESS TO BUSINESS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

If you have purchased a Shure Extended Warranty (“Extended Warranty”) together with the designated business products manufactured or sold by Shure (“Eligible Products”), these Shure Extended Warranty Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set forth the terms and conditions under which the Shure Extended Warranty (“Extended Warranty”) will be provided.

The following is a list of all Eligible Product(s) and Extended Warranty Periods, and may be updated by Shure from time to time:

Eligible Product

Extended Warranty Period

IntelliMix Room Kits (including Huddly cameras that are bundled with each Kit)

3 yrs (beginning from end of standard limited warranty, for a total coverage period of up to 5 yrs from date of purchase)

  1. Purchase of Extended Warranty.
    1. The Extended Warranty is only available to business customers acquiring a designated Product for their own use and not for commercial resale (“End Customers”). Consumers are not eligible to purchase an Extended Warranty, and the Extended Warranty can only be purchased through an authorized Shure reseller, distributor, or channel partner (“Shure Partner”) for the Eligible Product(s) listed above.
    2. The Extended Warranty is not available for, and does not apply to: (i) software or firmware, (ii) limited-life consumable components and accessories, such as but not limited to rechargeable batteries, or (iii) any products other than those which are identified as Eligible Products in these Terms.
    3. The Extended Warranty may only be purchased at the time of purchase of the Eligible Product(s) or within 60 days of the purchase date of the Eligible Product(s) from Shure or a Shure Partner. If a purchase order for Extended Warranty is received by Shure more than 60 days after such period, Shure may at its discretion reject the purchase order.
  2. Extended Warranty Period. The “Extended Warranty Period” begins immediately after the applicable standard Limited Warranty period ends and extends for the period of time identified in the confirmation notice issued by Shure (“Confirmation Notice”). The Confirmation Notice will identify the applicable designated products covered under the Extended Warranty and the Extended Warranty Period.
  3. Extended Warranty Coverage.
    1. The Extended Warranty only extends the warranty period and not the coverage of the Limited Warranty. For avoidance of doubt, the Extended Warranty does not apply to Shure’s consumer line of products, software, limited-life consumable components and accessories, any third party products purchased individually (i.e., not bundled with Shure-products) or any Shure products other than those which are designated as eligible for Extended Warranty.
    2. Shure at its discretion may repair or replace any Product (including Huddly cameras or other third party products) under the Extended Warranty, and a replacement may be the same Product (using new or refurbished parts) or an equivalent product. Any replacement product will be warranted for the remainder of the Extended Warranty Period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer.
    3. The Extended Warranty is limited to a time extension of Shure’s standard Limited Warranty from the original purchase date of the designated Product. THE EXTENDED WARRANTY IS A NON-INSURANCE, SUPPLEMENTAL WARRANTY EXTENDING THE DURATION OF THE STANDARD WARRANTY. It does not cover, either expressly or implied, any additional or different circumstances other than the defects in material and workmanship covered under Shure’s standard Limited Warranty. All warranty exclusions provided for in Shure’s standard Limited Warranty apply to the Extended Warranty. Accordingly, additional circumstances such as accidental or incidental damage, indirect damage, loss, theft, mishandling, or misuse are excluded from the coverage.
  4. Confirmation Notice.
    1. The End-User shall ensure that the information in the Extended Warranty Confirmation Notice is correct, and each serial number aligns with the serial number on the applicable Product which the Extended Warranty shall cover. Any discrepancy shall be reported to Shure within thirty (30) calendar days following the date of the Confirmation Notice by contacting Customer Support.
    2. Shure reserves the right to correct any errors and incorrect dates in the Extended Warranty Confirmation Notice.
  5. Claims.
    1. The End-user must claim warranty service under the Extended Warranty in the country where the Product and the Extended Warranty are purchased. In countries where warranty service is not logistically or otherwise feasible, Shure will offer the warranty service through a Shure Partner.
    2. When submitting a claim for a Product covered under the Extended Warranty (including during the standard Limited Warranty period), the End-User shall carry out the actions and comply with the requirements and procedures set out below:
      1. Submit a claim to a Shure Service Center or contact a Shure Partner according to the following options:

Provide Shure with information reasonably requested by Shure to assess the claim, including, but not limited to, a copy of the Extended Warranty Confirmation Notice for the Product, Product name, Product model, product serial number, the purchase date, and a detailed description of the issue.

      4. Failure to comply with these requirements and procedures, and other reasonable requests of Shure, may result in the voidance of the coverage under the Extended Warranty and rejection of the claim.

  6. General.
    1. These Extended Warranty Terms are in addition to the Shure’s standard Limited Warranty applicable in the country of purchase which you have received together with your product. The applicable Limited Warranty terms are provided with each product. To the extent there is any conflict between (i) the Extended Warranty Terms and the original standard Limited Warranty, the Extended Warranty Terms will take precedence; (ii) the Extended Warranty Terms and digital or printed materials, the Extended Warranty Terms will take precedence.
    2. Unless otherwise stipulated in the Extended Warranty Terms above, all terms and conditions of Shure’s standard Limited Warranty continue unchanged during the Warranty Extension Period.
